Professionals in this field are known as Botanists and they understand the interactions of plants and the environment, life processes in different conditions. They also conduct experiments and study about the genetic properties that control plants’ development.

 

Role Desciption

 

Professionals in this field recognize, categorize, record and monitor plant species and biodiversity. They provide ecological consultation and conduct surveys while managing botanical collection. They also aim to hunt novel species. Professionals in this field also evaluate the effects of contamination, identify and refine chemicals produced by plants. Presenting research results in journals, books and at academic conferences is also one of their job duties.
