Film Making

Film Making or Film Production is all about developing a story in action for entertainment, awareness, or educational purposes which is streamed through cinema or television. Filmmakers perform various tasks and have several roles like coming up with new ideas, script-writing, the casting of Actors/Actresses, direction, production, editing, screenplay, and so on. Film making is a combined effort of all the departments, while the audience only gets to see the actors and actresses on the screen but thousands of people work behind the scenes for successful completion of a film.  A Filmmaker can also be termed as Director. However, all the Directors are not filmmakers.   

A Filmmaker is responsible for giving direction to the entire aspect of film making and on the presentation of the final product, to the viewers. Filmmaker also selects the actors according to the demand of the script. These professionals guide and help the actors to get into the characters in terms of expression, voice, looks, dialogues and appearances. The filmmakers also give directions to the technicians responsible for backdrop, sets, lighting, camera and special effects. Filmmakers discuss the appropriate sequencing of the scenes with editors. The successful completion of the project within the expected time frame and in the allotted budget is also the responsibility of the filmmaker.
