Undoubtedly, management is a very vast and varied profession offering wide variety of career opportunities right from consulting, entrepreneurship, human resource, general management, operation management to strategic planning. A person involved in the field is responsible for forecasting, planning, organizing, commanding, coordinating and controlling the processes of the organization for the effective internal as well as external functioning by managing people as well as resources.
Role Desciption
Management professionals are responsible for defining and shaping the business strategy and vision of an organization. Executing the planned strategy in coordination with other team members is their responsibility. These professionals provide specialized advice to enhance the profits of an organization and clients. They also work on departmental professionals’ goals. They general activities that management professionals carry out may include manufacturing of products and offering services, and discussion with executives, staff members and board members on daily operations of an organization. They also develop marketing strategies to target the prospective consumers, discuss contracts and agreements, and bring together the needs and demands of the clients and stakeholders in making project report. Recruiting and appointing heads of various departments and managers and supervising the performance of various staff members are some of their significance responsibilities.
Eligibility
- 10+2 in Any Stream, or Science/Commerce
- Graduation in Any Discipline for 3-5 years, or B.Tech/BE for 4 years, or Graduation in BBA/BMS/B.Com for 3 years
- PG Diploma in Management/ MBA (various specializations) for 2 years
