Eligibility


Educational Route to Become an Orthopedist in India

  • 10+2 in science stream with PCB
  • Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS)
  • Master of Surgery (MS) in Orthopedics
  • M.Ch. in Orthopedics or Fellowships in subspecialties like pediatric orthopedics, sports medicine, or joint replacement
  • Register with the Medical Council of India (MCI) or respective State Medical Councils.

 

Entrance Exam:

  • NEET-UG (National Eligibility cum Entrance Test for Undergraduates)
  • NEET-PG (National Eligibility cum Entrance Test for Postgraduates)
