Sound Engineer also known as Audio or Recording Engineer is the technician who captures, records, copies, mixes, and reproduces the sound with the help of electronic and mechanical devices. Sound Engineering is emerging as a promising career for young generation with immense opportunities in the entertainment industry. Sound Engineers are responsible for pre-production and post-production of sound. They produce the sound as per the needs of Directors, Producers, audience or client. They are also involved in testing the instruments, recording, mixing, and editing audio tracks.
