G H Raisoni University was established on 13th June, 2016 under The Madhya Pradesh Niji Vishwavidyalaya (Sthapana evam Sanchalan) Adhiniyam Act No. 17 of 2007’. It is situated at Saikheda, which is at the border of Maharashtra and Madhya Pradesh. The University is at a distance of Approx 60Kms from Nagpur as well as Chhindwara. Raisoni University has a vibrant community of academicians and learners that helps the students to choose and succeed in the field of their choice. Although, as a university our journey has just started but history, explains our strong foundation in the education sector. Raisoni Group of Institutions (RGI) has a glorious history of near about 2 decades of existence in education sector that was started in 1998 by acquiring a single engineering college in Nagpur, which has grown into one of the leading educational groups in Central India with its presence in 6 major cities. Our vision G H Raisoni University is an independent, coeducational institution that provides Diploma undergraduate, post graduate programs and Doctorate program with different specializations and research facilities in the domain of Agriculture, Pharmaceutical Science, Engineering, Management, Law, Nursing & Paramedical Sciences and many more along with Skill based training that is the need of today’s economy. With the facilities, the curriculum and the excellence-centric approach, it has also become the fastest growing University in the realm. The elements which define our Education system The education system of a University needs to be nothing less than exceptional. Nurturing the young minds, developing the skills and instilling the apt environment include our attributes. In the same frame, we have, - Industry based courses The courses have been so inculcated by us that we are able to suffice the students with programs which are associated with the required industry. The industry-driven courses enable them to enrich their learning and apply it to the relevant realm. - Comprehensive curriculum A comprehensive curriculum of the University should be career centric. It should be an apt blend of theoretical knowledge and practical aspects. There should be enclosure of round the year activities, academic and co-curricular which ensures in-depth knowledge to the students. We have taken care to include all these aspects in our curriculum. - Placement assistance The objective of education is to carve a successful career. Thus, in the very campus of our University, assistance is provided with every aspect of placement. The G H Raisoni University believes in the dissemination of learning and knowledge through its education system. In the pathway to ensure that the maximum numbers of candidates are able to be on the receiving end of holistic education, many programs are employed by us. The Scholarship falls into the same criteria.

The procedure, the norms and terms have been fabricated in the manner that the worthy students are able to receive the maximum benefits. So, we have the following categories:-

1. Merit - the student whose academic percentage is above 80% is liable to 20% scholarship of total fee amount. While, for the students whose percentage fall between the 70% and 80% category, the scholarship of total fee amount allowed is 10%.
2. Sports - for the sports scholarship, the students who are National level winner in sports competition are liable to a 20% scholarship of total fee amount. It’s a 10% scholarship of total fee amount available for the students who are the State level winner in the sports competition.
3. Cultural - A 20% scholarship of total fee amount is allowed for the students who are winners in the National level cultural competition. While, the scholarship of total fee amount is 10% for those who are winners in the state level cultural competition.
4. Physically disabled - the amount of scholarship is dependent on the decision of the committee, which in turn is based on the level of the physical disability.

The norms

There are some set norms and rules laid by the G H Raisoni University for the seamless execution of the scholarship program. They are listed in here:-

- The final decision in this regard will be taken by committee.
- The scholarship is applicable on the basis of the 12th percentage for those taking admission to the first year. The scholarship for the second and final year will be given when a student qualifies with at least 60% in the qualifying examination.
- The policy remains valid for the next year only if the student clears all the examination in the very first attempt.
- The scholarship is dependent on the yearly performance and it is reviewed on a yearly basis.
- The scholarship is not given to the students/ parents in cash. It is adjusted with their yearly fees.
- This scholarship cannot be clubbed with any other scheme
