These days accessories have become a fashion statement, combining aesthetic values with practicality. Besides application of contemporary designs in lifestyle, accessories have added value and style to these. An Accessory Designer is responsible for designing accessories across lifestyle segments. Accessory Designer is the one who creates original designs keeping in mind the ongoing trends among fashionistas. Accessories Designers create designs for accessories using pencil and paper or computer-aided design, making a detailed pattern to construct a sample of the design, travel to trade shows, manufacturers, and fashion shows to keep them updated with the changing trends. They usually have long working hours, hectic deadlines, and their work is quite demanding. Self-employed accessory designers work with big brands and labels, organize design activities, develop and design concepts for exhibition, or commercial purposes. Also they develop educative material, and remain updated with current trends.
