One who practices medicine is a Doctor. Also, referred to as Physician or Medical Practitioner, they are responsible for promoting, maintaining and restoring health through education, diagnosis, projections, and treatment of diseases, injuries, and other health related issues. The Doctor examines the patients, take note of medical histories, recommend medications; investigate and understand diagnostic tests. Also it is Doctors’ responsibility to advice patients on precautionary measures to remain protected. Doctors’ usually acquire specialization across wide variety of streams depending upon their interest. Doctor’s profession is very rewarding as well as tiring as it requires a lot hard work and effort in becoming and excelling as a Doctor.

A Doctor is believed to be a God on earth as Doctors are responsible for saving lives. Diagnosing, treating and making patient healthy are their prime areas of work. Doctors are specialized in wide variety of streams to cater to various organs and body parts. Doctors interpret the disease based on medical examination and laboratory test results and then prescribe the medicine and required treatment. In certain cases the Doctors may also need to suggest surgeries. Doctors also spread awareness and education to masses regarding the prevention of diseases and keeping fit.  The Doctors are also regularly involved in keeping themselves updated with the latest happening in the medical world with updated technologies for surgeries and diagnosis, available medicines and prevention of diseases.

 MD/MS/ D.N.B in Select Specialization for 3 years
