Route 1

• 10+2 in science stream with PCB
• Bachelor's degree in Medicine/Human Genetics / Life Sciences/ Nursing and allied fields with relevant clinical experience
• Certification from the Board of Genetic Counseling India

Route 2

• 10+2 in science stream with PCM
• Bachelor's degree in Genetic Engineering/ Biotechnology or similar
• Masters in Genetic Engineering/ Biotechnology or similar
• Certification from the Board of Genetic Counseling India

Route 3

• 10+2 in any stream
• Bachelor’s degree in Sociology/ Psychology
• 1 year diploma in Genetic counseling
• Certification from Genetic Counseling India
