Eligibility
Educational Route to Become a Pediatrician in India
- 10+2 in science stream with PCB
- Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS)
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) in Pediatrics
- Super specialization- DM (Doctorate of Medicine) in Pediatric subspecialties such as Neonatology, Pediatric Cardiology, etc.
- Register with the Medical Council of India (MCI) or respective State Medical Councils.
- Gain experience through residency, fellowships, and working in hospitals or clinics
Entrance Exam:
- NEET-UG (National Eligibility cum Entrance Test for Undergraduates)
- NEET-PG (National Eligibility cum Entrance Test for Postgraduates)
