Public Health Administration is a field through which health is promoted and diseases are prevented among masses. Public Health Administrators are responsible for managing, leading, and administering hospitals, healthcare services, and public health systems. They are employed with hospitals, public health organizations, and NGOs. As every section of the society is bound to receive medical support, the need for public administrators is increasing day-by-day.

Public Health Administrators promote healthcare, and hygiene, develop policies so that people can be provided with various healthcare facilities, reach out to masses even in the most remote areas, work with various Doctors, Hospitals and Health Care Centers. They are also responsible for hiring and training people and corresponding with others in an effective language. They also manage finances and operations of an organization while following the ethical code of conduct.

• 10 + 2 in Science with biology stream
• Bachelors in Public Health, MBBS, BDS, BHMS, BAMS, BUMS, BPT, B.Pharm/ B.Sc. in any allied health sciences for 3-4 years
• Masters in Public Health (MPH)/Diploma/Post Graduation Diploma in Public Health Management (PGDPHM) for 1-2 years
