Special Education
Special Education is focused on teaching individuals with mental retardation as per their level of abilities. Special education is a specialized branch of education that focuses on providing tailored instruction and support to students with disabilities, learning differences, or other special needs. The goal of special education is to ensure that all students have access to a quality education and can reach their full potential. Students enrolled in special education programs, discover basic methods to help individuals with intellectual disabilities, to make them learn various concepts. Methods can include problem-solving assignments, individualized instruction and small-group work. In addition, prospective teachers learn what special arrangements are needed when students take exams.
Special education serves students with a wide range of disabilities, including but not limited to autism spectrum disorders, specific learning disabilities (e.g., dyslexia), attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), intellectual disabilities, speech or language impairments, and emotional or behavioral disorders. Inclusive education is a key principle of special education. It promotes the inclusion of students with disabilities in general education classrooms whenever possible. Inclusion provides opportunities for students with disabilities to learn alongside their typically developing peers.

They adapt teaching methods, materials, and strategies to ensure that students can access the curriculum.
Special education professionals regularly monitor and assess students' progress to determine whether their IEP (Individualized Education Plans) goals are being met. Adjustments to instructional strategies and goals may be made as needed.
