Forensic Scientists are equipped with the knowledge of various subjects like biology, chemistry, geology, physics, social science, psychology, etc. These professionals conduct investigations to decode complex and heinous crimes by collecting crucial evidence to find out the truth.    

 

Role Desciption

 

Forensic Scientists examine and analyze the crime scenes to figure out what and how proof ought to be gathered. They take photos of the proofs and crime scene and create sketches of the area, record perceptions and discoveries such as the area and position of proof. They gather physical proof including weapons, fingerprints, and organic liquids and perform chemical, natural, and physical examination on proof taken from the crime scenes.

 B.Sc. Forensic Sciences for 3 years 
 M.Sc. Forensic Sciences for 2 years/Post-Graduate Diploma in Forensic Sciences for 1-2 years
Route 210 + 2 in Science stream
 Graduation in any science discipline
 M.Sc. Forensic Sciences for 2 years/Post-Graduate Diploma in Forensic Sciences for 1-2 years
Route 310+2 with PCB
 MBBS
 MD Forensic Medicine 
Route 410 + 2 in Science stream
 5 year integrated B.Sc + M. Sc in Forensic Science
