Web Developer

Web Developer

A programmer who uses the client-server architecture to create World Wide Web applications is known as a web developer. The apps typically use any general-purpose programming language on the server and HTML, CSS, and JavaScript on the client.

The main work of a web developer is to build websites. Many web developers are in charge of the website's performance and capacity in addition to making sure it is aesthetically pleasing and simple to navigate.

To build websites, web developers either work alone as independent contractors or in teams within organizations. These specialists may concentrate on front-end development, which entails creating websites and content, or back-end development, which is developing code to implement website functionality. A website's webmasters can also be web developers who handle upkeep, updates, and troubleshooting as necessary.

Types of web developers- Web developers usually fall under one of three categories: back-end developers, front-end developers, and full-stack developers. Some web developers also work as webmasters. Let’s take a closer look at each of these roles.

Back-end web developers design the structure of the website, write the code, and check that the code is functional. Their duties may also involve controlling access points for anyone who need to control the content of websites.

Front-end web developers work on the user interface, or the pages that visitors see and interact with on the website. They create the actual page layouts, incorporate visuals, and improve the site with HTML and JavaScript.

Full-stack developers handle both the front-end and back-end development tasks. These programmers can create an entire website and may work for companies that lack the funding for a large website staff.

Webmasters- In essence, webmasters are website managers. Their main duty is to maintain the website and make sure that all of the connections and applications are functional on every page.

Role Desciption

Web developers are responsible for creating graphics and themes for the website. The process of creating a website is putting all the numerous codes created for various functionality together and making them work together. Finding the suitable language in accordance with the needs of the website is a duty of a web developer. People who work as web developers write different kinds of programmes for online sites, interfaces, design, and format. They connect it to a certain server and database.

Back-end and front-end development are both a part of the website's development. One of the most crucial characteristics, frontend development determines the appearance and experience of a website. Building a solid design with a theme that adequately reflects the website's goal is the responsibility of web developers.

You could work as a freelance web developer taking on projects for one-on-one clients or for a business or agency. Your daily responsibilities will vary based on your workplace, but they typically include designing user interfaces and navigation menus, writing and evaluating website code, usually in HTML, XML, or JavaScript, testing online apps, integrating multimedia material into websites, collaborating with designers,  developers, and stakeholders to solve performance or user experience issues.
