An agricultural manager is responsible for managing the growth of crops, livestock, and other products that can be sold to businesses or individuals. They may oversee day-to-day operations such as nurseries and large farms; looking for inactive landowners in need of management support - all the while staying up to date with new technologies in their industry.

Production managers are employed in a range of agricultural situations, including food production, seed and chemical production, and animal production. They are in charge of managing daily operations as they pertain to the efficient manufacture of the company's goods.

This involves marketing the product by developing and executing marketing campaigns, tracking sales data, scheduling meetings and trade shows, maintaining inventory of promotional materials, etc. reporting, maintaining databases and preparing reports.
