Chemical Engineering

Chemical Engineering

Chemical Engineering deals with food, biomedicine, environment and electronics while petroleum engineering mainly caters to the taking out of oil and gas beneath the earth’s surface. The role of Engineers in contemporary times is to develop the processes of conversion of the physical and chemical form of a substance to become appropriate for business applicability. These processes may result into making food processing better. These days Chemical Engineers also work on upcoming concepts of nanotechnology. The role of Petroleum Engineers is to apply the methods that may help in maximizing the mining of hydrocarbons effectively without causing any harmful effect to the environment.

Role Desciption

The Chemical and Petroleum Engineers are responsible for calculating the value of chemical equipment and procedures to find out ways to regulate performance and to ensure safety and environment protection. They keep on carrying out research around developing new chemical manufacturing systems. Chemical and Petroleum Engineers make necessary arrangements for processes like crushing, mixing, drying, and distillation. Also they supervise numerous stages of production. Prepare pilot plant of production before setting up the actual real production plant to see the results.
