Eligibility


Educational Route to Become a Clinical Psychologist in India

  • 10+2 in Humanities with Psychology
  • B.A or B.Sc  in Psychology 
  • M.A or M.Sc in Psychology, with a specialization in clinical psychology
  • M.Phil. in Clinical Psychology from an RCI-recognized institution
  • Ph.D. in clinical psychology 

 

Licensing and Certification Obtain a license from the Rehabilitation Council of India (RCI) after completing an M.Phil. in Clinical Psychology or equivalent. This is mandatory for practicing as a clinical psychologist in India.
