Role Desciption
The Supply Chain Managers are responsible for planning, developing, organizing, directing, managing and evaluating the personnel, operations and budget of supply chain of an organization. Take assistance from supply chain planners to predict the need, or produce supply plans that make certain, the availability of materials or products. They also forecast the effective supply chain and characterize presentation metrics for measurement, assessment, or estimate of supply chain factors like; cost, product, and quality. These professionals are also required to assess inventories to find out the method to increase inventory and decrease waste, or organize customer service. Supply Chain Managers also develop a system of delivery of products to ensure customer satisfaction.
Eligibility
- 10+2 in Science Stream or in any stream
- Graduation in B.Tech / B.E for 4 years or, Graduation in Any Discipline
- PG Diploma / MBA in Supply Chain Management/ Certification Course in SCM
Significant Statistics
- Minimum 55% in 10+2 for admission to most premium colleges
- Though on graduating one can get a job in the supply chain still an MBA is recommended for fast career development
