Role Desciption

 

Textile Designers are responsible for creating patterns or designs for printed, knitted or woven textiles. They are involved in designing and creating new ideas and fresh takes and designing clothing, accessories, furniture and fabrics. They meet clients to understand the needs, give presentations and demonstrate art work.

Route 1 10+ 2 in any stream
 B. Des. (Textile design) for 4 years
 Advanced Diploma in Textile Designing/ PG Diploma in Apparel Design/ M. Des. (Textile design) for 2 years
Route 210+2 in science stream with PCM
  B. Tech Textile engineering for 4 years
 Advanced Diploma in Textile Designing/ PG Diploma in Apparel Design/ M. Des. (Textile design) for 2 years
